Disconnectors and switch-disconnectors vertical break design SBC range
Description
The disconnectors and switch-disconnectors SBC range is visible breaking, vertical break design and principally used in rural distribution networks. They are suitable for horizontal or vertical mounting on metal, concrete or wooden single or double poles.
SBC types have a load breaking head comprising a chamber and fast opening auxiliary blade.
This arrangement combines the high speed action of the auxiliary blade with the cooling and confining effect of the enclosure to restrict the arc and limit the production of gases

Yaskawa's SF6 load break switches are safer to operate than vacuum and other competitive types because the gas pressure is continuously monitored by a pressure switch and is mechanically and electrically interlocked if pressure is lowered. Highest quality porcelain bushings are used for longer and more reliable insulation performance, thus making the Yaskawa switch ideal for use in hostile and dusty environments such as mines, heavy salt-ridden coastal areas, and dense tropical areas.
Yaskawa furnishes the load break switch in three application configurations.

General description:
EntelliGuard® G circuit breakers are the newest line of GE low-voltage circuit breakers, the next step in the evolution of a line known for its exceptional reliability and performance. They are available in 3- and 4-pole designs rated from 400A to 6000A, with fault interruption ratings up to 150kAIC
Integral to the EntelliGuard G breakers are the new, state-of-the-art EntelliGuard TU Trip Units, which provide superior system protection, system reliability, monitoring and communications. The breaker-trip unit system delivers superior circuit protection without compromising either selectivity or arc flash protection.
The EntelliGuard breaker-trip unit system demonstrates yet again GE's core competencies in reliable electric power distribution, circuit protection and personnel protection.
Modern economic reality and the regulatory environment demand system performance while recognizing the need to protect against the arc flash hazards that expose maintenance personnel to dangerous levels of heat, electrical energy, debris from damaged equipment and concussive forces. The challenge is to provide both better personnel protection by minimizing arc flash hazards and maintain electrical power to mission-critical loads. But these objectives often seem to conflict, pitting the speed and sensitivity required to optimize safety against the sequence of operations and interlocking required to maximize power system availability.

Raychem PESD electrostatic discharge protection devices are designed for I/O port protection in high-speed data transmission applications, PESD devices shunt ESD away from sensitive circuitry in electronic devices. The PESD devices provide exceptionally low capacitance, they perform better than other comparable components in TLP (transmission line pulse) testing, as well as IEC61000-4-2 testing, especially after multiple hits (up to 1000). The devices offer a lower trigger voltage and a lower clamping voltage than typical polymer ESD (electrostatic discharge) devices, resulting in improved protection of sensitive electronic components.

For today's customers building machines for use throughout the world, the new Bulletin 1489 helps with compliance for the varied circuit protection requirements. The Bulletin 1489 line is listed for branch circuit applications in the United States and Canada and approved as a miniature circuit breaker for IEC applications.
Designed to meet North American and IEC standards the 1489 product line provides a variety of configurations with current ranges of 0.5 A to 40 A and voltage ranges of 240V AC and 480Y/277V AC. The 1489 circuit breakers also have a DC rating: 1-pole 48V DC and 2-pole 96V DC series. This versatility can reduce engineering costs, save time for OEMs, panel builders and end users and can help meet safety standards.
In North America, the Bulletin 1489 meets UL 489 and CSA 22.2 No. 5.1 standards for branch circuit protection as well as IEC 60 947-2 requirements for miniature circuit breakers used in international industrial applications. To address the needs of equipment protection that are installed in electrical control panels, the new device helps with the equipment protection circuit formally only associated with UL 1077. It provides users with circuit protection from 0.5 amps to 40 amps and up to 480 volts.
For ease of installation a series of 1489 busbars (80 A) are now available, certified to UL489. These busbars are available in: single phase, two phase, and three phase versions.
As circuit protection standards evolve to meet application demands, Bulletin 1489 gives users a safer, reliable option that protects personnel, equipment and facilities from electrical hazards.
