UNMATCHED STABILITY -
Westech's baffle design virtually eliminates the effects of surging by confining the water in up to 21 separate cells, further divided by a transverse baffle.
INCREASED WATER CAPACITY -
An additional benefit of the Westech baffle design is that the tank itself becomes an enormous structural member, allowing for a lighter weight tank which translates into additional payload - less operating cost is the final result.
LOW MAINTENANCE - extended service life Westech's unique internal baffle design provides high section modules (engineering measurement of strength). The pressed shape internal baffle gives the tank significantly greater strength as it acts as a beam with no hidden areas providing 100% paint coverage. The sloping walls make abrasive blasting and cleaning easier. The blasting grit feeds down through manholes to the tank bottom. The tank bottom has a natural sump for ease of cleaning and gravity priming of the pump.
IMPROVED SAFETY - operator comfort In addition to the front access ladder, handrails are provided from tank front to access hatch. Access into and out of the tank is ergonomic and safe as all internal compartments have flat walkways and ladders. The recessed channel from the large fill port at the center of the tank ensures that any overfilling is drained to the rear, not spilling over the cab or deck of the truck. The tank top is sloped to shed water and is covered with an anti-skid safety coating.
