Bal Seal Engineering canted-coil springs produce a nearly constant force over the working spring deflection unlike other types of springs where the spring force is directly proportional to deflection. Our products are available in continuous lengths or circular spring form with outside diameters from 0.020" (0.51mm) and wire sizes as small as 0.0025" (0.64mm). Spring forces are determined by material, coil size, and geometry. Bal Seal Springs are be custom engineered to meet your application requirements.
Bal Seal can accommodate high volume production requirements while meeting today's exacting quality standards.

The MSE® seal consists of a PTFE or other polymer energized by a corrosion-resistant metal spring. When the seal is seated in the gland, the spring is under compression and applying force on the gland-sealing surfaces. This creates a tight barrier to prevent gas or fluids from leaking. The spring also provides resiliency to compensate for seal wear, gland misalignment or eccentricity. While spring force provides adequate force for sealing at low pressure, at high pressure the system pressure augments the spring force to provide an even tighter seal. MSE seals are precision machined from PTFE, filled PTFE and other high-performance polymers. MSE seals work consistently under a wide array of temperatures and pressures. Greene, Tweed offers over 100 jacket materials, four standard spring materials, and four standard spring designs to meet your sealing needs.

Sealing – with innovative brush solutions from Mink-Bürsten.
• In machine tools, Mink strip brushes provide protection against lubricating emulsions and flying chips
• In woodworking machinery, our sealing elements block off dust and noise
• These brushes make ideal permanent seals for doors, gates, openings, apertures and gaps
• They provide a continuous sealing effect over the entire width of the working surface

Mink standard strip brushes (STL) – Brushes from stock for fast, effective solutions
The problems that come up in everyday practice are often very much alike. For this reason, we’ve put together a collection comprising more than 6,000 of the most frequently used strip brushes, which we keep in stock for delivery on short notice. This means that you can profit from our many decades of experience, get deliveries within seven working days, and enjoy low prices.
Advantages:
• Unbeatable prompt delivery, low prices
• Special bristles for high temperatures
• Dependable protection against contamination

Strip brushes are mainly used as cover in association with moving parts. They insulate doors and windows or help to keep moving parts on machines clean. There are many forms and profiles, with or without holders. Therefore, please indicate full measurements and holder details when ordering. The profile can be made of steel, aluminium or plastic. The filling material can be bristles or steel wire. For more details please use the enquiry form.

|
The bristles of strip brushes are fitted in a metal backing tape. This allows the brushes to be mounted by means of holders or inserted into grooves. For example, as replacements for special circular and roller brushes.
We supply all standard types in a length of 1.000 mm. We can supply seperate holders for fixing our strip brushes type 25 and type 40.

|
- In-stock & Custom manufactured metal back strip brushes
- Strip brushes in several styles, shapes & sizes for all industries
- Strip brush holders for easy mounting
- Strip brush fill materials include synthetic, abrasive nylon, natural bristle and wire
- Galvanized, stainless steel or aluminum backing
- Strip-By-The-Foot – In stock, ready to ship

Greene, Tweed's unsurpassed expertise in elastomeric and thermoplastic compounding has resulted in the design of this exceptionally long-life, low-friction seal. The Bandseal (GTB) is a self-actuating extrusion resistant seal combining low breakout and running friction with minimal leakage over extended service life. The seal is constructed of premium grade PTFE sealing caps and elastomer energizers. Greene, Tweed's GTB Bandseal is a compact single-acting seal for sealing reciprocating rods but is also available as a single-acting cylinder bore seal. The Bandseal has no stickslip effect. Its fluid feedback capability means the Bandseal cannot cause a pressure trap when assembled in tandem arrangements. The GTS Bandseal operates in temperatures ranging from -85°F (-65°C) to 500°F (260°C) with pressure up to 200 bar standard (higher pressures are possible).

One of the types of seals that CHO specialise in is cassette type seals where the primary function is to protect the bearing from ingress of grit, dirt, water, etc. These are primarily used in dirty environments where experience has proven that standard seals are not upto the job. Typical applications are:
- agricultural tractors
- heavy duty trucks and trailers
- quarry and mining equipment
CHO have many styles and sizes available for the above industries, but are constantly manufacture new styles and sizes.
CHO have just introduced a "patent pending" axle seal for the US Heavy duty truck and trailer market.
