Industrial needle roller and cage assemblies are single or double row units comprising cages and needle rollers.
Since their radial section is no greater than the diameter of the needle rollers, needle roller and cage assemblies allow bearing specifications arrangements with a very small radial design envelope to be achieved. They have very high load carrying capacity, are suitable for high speeds and can be easily fitted.
If the raceways are produced to high geometrical accuracy, bearing arrangements with high runout accuracy can be achieved.
The radial internal clearance can be influenced by the needle roller sort and by the shaft and housing tolerance.
Needle roller and cage assemblies require a hardened and ground raceway on the shaft and in the housing.

Needle roller thrust bearings can support heavy axial loads, are insensitive to shock loads and provide stiff bearing arrangements which require a minimum of axial space. They are single direction industrial bearings and can only accommodate axial loads acting in one direction. Particularly compact bearing arrangements can be made, taking up no more space than a conventional thrust washer, if the faces of adjacent machine components can serve as raceways for a needle roller and cage thrust assembly. For applications where adjacent components cannot serve as raceways, the assemblies can also be combined with washers of various designs.

NSK manufactures a complete range of spherical roller bearings manufacturers from 25mm to 1.5m bore diameter with the option of parallel or tapered bores (for use with NSK adapter or withdrawal sleeves). Other sizes may also be available on request.
Spherical roller bearings specifications can support high radial loads and moderate axial loads in either direction. They are also suitable for applications involving moderate shock or impact loads.
The inner ring professional guides two rows of barrel-shaped industrial rollers , with a single spherical outer ring raceway. As such, these bearing can accommodate a varying degree of misalignment depending on their size, but normally between 0.018 and 0.045 radian (1 to 2.5 degrees) with average loads.
Different cage materials are available for these bearings including steel, brass or polyamide depending on the requirements of the application. These bearings are also available with an oil groove and holes in the outer ring for re-lubrication purposes.

RKB spherical roller bearings specifications comprises open bearings, sealed (suffix 2CZ1) and bearings for vibratory applications (suffix ROVS).
RKB offers spherical roller bearings customized for specific applications as bearings with split outer ring (suffix WOR) or with increased width dimension and larger rollers for milling applications (project designation SRB) or for the support of the rolls of cold rolling Pilger mills for tubes.
Such bearings are provided with annular groove and lubrication holes in the outer and/or in the inner ring (suffix W33, W33X, W20, W26).

In order to locate the spherical roller bearings with the tapered bore onto a cylindrical seating, the adapter (designation H) or withdrawal (designation AH) sleeves are the most commonly used components with large shafts with h9 and h10 tolerance.
For large sized bearings, both adapter and withdrawal sleeves are provided with oil grooves and oil duct at the threaded side to enable the oil injection method to be used for easy mounting and dismounting (designation OH and AOH). |
