Brazed PCD Tools: Multi-flute PCD tools are designed to run at maximum RPM and increased feed rates. We select from seven different grades of PCD to offer outstanding tool life and improved surface finish. One pass machining is not only possible but represents the majority of applications. Complete tooling assembles are generally used to control T.I.R., however hydraulic and shrink fit connections have proven to be very successful. All non-ferrous applications should be considered including aluminum cast, composites and glass filled plastics.

Complexe tooling systems will be modulated during the machining process. This is the reason why they belong to the premieure league of special tools. The manufacturing of these tools needs long experiences in special tool design and construction and a high precision production.

Tests were carried out to compare the new S333 roughing cutter with a standard roughing cutter on AMG 1.5. On the S333, the combination of the toughness properties of the carbide material, the Super-G coating and the geometry of the tool (unequal helix, asymmetric chipbreaker profile) resulted in less tool vibration and less wear on the tool, compared to the standard roughing cutter. Consequently for the S333, the quality of the surface finish of the workpiece is higher and the tool life of the cutter is over 30% longer, resulting in less tool changes.

|
MULTIRING EM90 / FM90
- modular discs allow various gage lengths
- dual right and left hand helix design minimizes axial tractive and compressive forces
- sparing of machine spindels
- suitable for machines with lower performance
Shell-end mill EW90
- fine pitch design utilizing ENHQ-insert
- soft and free cutting tool
- high reliability thanks to the distribution of the cutting edges
|
|
The CoroMill 390 endmill offers precision performance in a class of its own. In many ways, the CoroMill 390 is the first high-precision indexable endmill. Playing in the same league as solid endmills.
The CoroMill 390 produces mirror finish surfaces and true 90° shoulders. Noise and vibration are reduced to a very low level.
|
|
MEGAVANT HC90
- high feeds in 90° cutting angle operations
- suitable for roughing and finishing with the same insert
- high volume machining high rentability
Shoulder milling cutter EP90
- tangential design with ENHQ-insert
- "genuine" four cutting edges
- ENHQ-insert can be unded in other AVANTEC milling tool systems
- large chip chambers
- suitable for materials that form long continuous chips
Shoulder milling cutter EV90
- tangential design with ENHQ-insert
- "genuine" four cutting edges
- reduction of costs because of reduction of inserts
- smaller chip chambers utilizing a fine pitch design
- very suitable for unstable or thin parts
|
|
Side milling cutter TN18 / TB18
- a balanced smooth cut is provided by using right an left hand inserts
- high precision of radial and axial run out
- very precise width of cut
- slot ground because of ground T-form insert
Side milling cutter tangential EN18 / EB18
- ENduro-insert guarantees 4 "genuine" cutting edges
- fine tooth pitch through tangential ENHQ insert style
- smooth cutting through cut division of left- and right handed inserts

CoroMill® 327 and 328 grooving cutter
For use in internal machining of eccentric components e.g gearbox casings, high volume assembly, mainly on machining centres.
A universal cutter for use in all materials PMKNS
Sharp cutting edges for high quality grooves
One grade; PVD coated GC1025 for all materials
Multiple edges for high productive economic machining
Operations:
Internal grooving
Slot milling
Threading
CoroMill Plura thread milling cutters
Just one tool for most threads with the same pitch:
Same tool for right and left hand threads
Same tool for a wide range of thread diamters
Full thread also close to the bottom of blind hole
The smallest internal thread size each tool can produce is shown in the ordering information in the Main catalogue . The same thread mill can also be used for any larger size threads of that same pitch, as indicated also on the ordering page. The shortest possible tool is the best choice whenever possible.

|
|
Stellram's thread mills complete a thread in one machine set up. Tools with NPT, NPTF, BSPT, BSW thread forms produce internal, external, right hand and left hand threads with the same tools. They produce easy to handle chips, minimize power requirements and interrupted cuts and casting mis-match is no problem. Excellent surface finish eliminates deburring operations. Multi-start threads are easy to produce and there are no broken taps to remove.
