The SETCOTM Spark Erosion Grinding (SEG) System is a portable electronic discharge machining system that precisely removes metal stock using AC current. The SEG process utilizes EDM technology to arc-grind a profile on metal parts.
SEG Process Features
Burr free honeycomb finishing with minimal clean-up
Finish machine to print specs with minimal mechanical preparation
Remove up to .020" stock removal per pass (alternate methods remove 0.005" per pass)
Machine contour shapes with tracer control or shaping electrodes
No contact "electrical machining" process reduces cutting force strain on the part
Machine honeycomb down to 1/50" of cell size
Machine foil down to 0.002" thickness
Use with machine coolant to flush away particles and cool the wheel and part
Low maintenance and requires only periodic coolant replacement
Electrode wheels can be "shop manufactured" from cold rolled steel
The SEG 1500 system easily integrates with existing equipment
The BA8 wire eroding system can be applied universally and is particularly appropriate for your production. If automated, it works without an operator; three shifts per day, 365 days per year. Its reliability, capability and high availability are captivating but when matched with a sustainable reduction of your operating costs they become irresistible. The high-quality equipment, paired with the smallest space requirements are convincing too. High cutting speed and low unit costs are enabled by a high-power generator. The simple, comfortable, machine operation is supported by an automatic wire threading system for wire diameters from 0.1 to 0.3 mm as well as an absolute measuring system. This high user-friendliness allows eroding time to be utilised to the maximum

The concept behind the MICROCUT range of wires is to offer
customized fine wires that meet the increasingly demanding requirements of micro erosion applications. They are available in an incremental range of diameters and excel through the highest
quality with close tolerance tensile strengths and high dimensional accuracies.
In addition, these high-performance fine wires are tailor-made in small quantities and the guaranteed length which is indicated in metres per spool ensures secure planning for your erosion processes.
The new MICROCUT family includes these types:
MICROCUT CCA
MICROCUT
MICROCUT BR
