Feige Filling, the leading manufacturer of filling machines, has completed its series “SlimLine“ with a bag filler. With this new development Feige follows the trend towards packing liquid and pasty products not only in cans, pails, drums or IBC but also into plastic bags.
The new stainless steel “BagFiller” has been designed in well proven Feige quality to meet highest demands.
According to the motto “keep it simple“ Feige has done without any over-engineering and yet this filler offers all the main functions of a gravimetric filler.
The well proven “Plug & Fill” principle is also the basis for the new bag filler, i.e. this filler is ready mounted for production! Power supply is put on, compressed air and product line are connected and the filler can straight be used for W& M approved filling of open plastic bags with liquid or pasty products. Complex installation, cable conduits and cable laying can completely be spared.
For this type of the “BagFillingLine” the operator fixes an open bag to the bag holder and presses the “START” button. The bag is safely hold during filling, lying on the bag support. After precise W&M approved filling in coarse and fine fill the bag will be removed from the filler and sealed with a sealing unit.
Even for the cost-effective bag filler one important feature of Feige filling machines is not missing: Filling valves with minimum dead space and self-adjusting sealing, with quick connectors for quick change of product and efficient cleaning.

This system is equipped with a set of dosing pistons that take the product from the filling tank, positioned in the centre of the filler; the liquid is then volumetrically measured and is positively displaced into the container.
This is a highly effective and accurate system that can be either operated by pneumatic or mechanical actions.

Bardi fillers for still water in large containers fulfills the following requirements:
- The filling process avoids the contact between the valve and the neck of the bottle (risk of contamination transfer).
- The filling process is electronically controlled to ensure into the bottle the predetermined volume of water.
- The filling valve and all the piping, valves etc. in contact with the product have a sanitary design and are made of aisi 316 S.S.
- All parts in contact with the product are prearranged for 3 or 5 steps CIP (cleaning in place) sterilization treatment.
- The filling cabinet is equipped with overpressure air flow. A minimum class 1000 air filtration is guaranteed, so as to protect the filling environment from the external ambient contamination.
- The washer and filler is "in block" in order to avoid the potential contamination of the clean bottles travelling from the washer outlet to the filling area.

EKLIPS, this fast, efficient and accurate filler/capper monoblock can use magnetic flow meters to easily manage up to 300 bottles per minute*. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE FILL ENVIRONMENT - ANTI-CORROSION DESIGN:
The machine is completely closed and the fumes developed during fill are sucked out and channeled and disposed of in accordance with the laws in force at the customer location. Moreover, the machine is furnished with a pure air feeding system that distributes clean air to all the parts that cannot be manufactured out of non-corrosive materials, for example the drive components.
It is up to the customer to furnish appropriate required tubing for both the removal and disposal of the sucked out fumes, and the input of clean air to the pure air feeding system.
CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS :
The materials. Plastic materials are used such as PVC CAW or special metal alloys such as TITANIUM, HASTELLOY, or SUPER DUPLEX; or special chemical surface treatments with high quality products such as HALAR. The selection of the materials used is made based on the products to be handled and their agressiveness.
The Base. The base is constructed of carbon steel treated with a thick layer of epoxy paint. The flat top surface is provided with a TITANIUM drain pan for any spillage or drainage of the washing liquids. All the lateral surfaces, such as the safety doors, are made out of PVC CAW or in Super DUPLEX based on the products to be handled.
