Model 49-5X is a precision micrometer for measuring thickness of sheet materials such as Textiles, Fabrics and Non-wovens. A selection of pressure feet is available to meet a variety of standards requirements. The unit also incorporates a unique cantilever system to vary the pressure exerted on the sample by adding or removing weights. Pressure foot speed and dwell time are controlled to insure accurate and repeatable test results.

The Solartron Digital Mini Probe is a compact, low profile, transducer intended for measurements in confined spaces such as bores. The product is based on a parallel spring structure that is significantly more robust than a single leaf arrangement. This greatly improves the reliability of the sensor, extending its working life and allowing it to be used in more demanding applications, such as automatic gages. The parallel spring also ensures a high level of repeatability, both on axis and across axis, so that it can be used in dynamic applications where profiling is required.

The Gauge Buster Load, Stress and Load Rate Indicator is designed to replace dial gauges on materials testing machines. Features include an industry first Auto-Test-Reset mode for hands free operation, bar graph load rate display, permanent storage of test results and easy transfer of results into data base programs. The Gauge Buster LP offers all of the features of the standard Gauge Buster plus the addition of a second digital encoder input for measuring piston/crosshead travel. During each test, the Gauge Buster records load, displacement, time data and can be configured to display piston/crosshead travel rate. After each test has completed, the recorded data (XY data and results) can be downloaded to a PC with ADMET’s WinCOM/WinCOM Plus Data Communications Program for further review and analysis. The Gauge Buster LP is sometimes used for soil/asphalt compaction.

The instruments of the type VM have a guiding profile, with which the dimension over balls can be established quickly and reliably, without rocking. The guiding profile is matched with that of the profile of the test item.
The VM inspection instruments display in this series their professionalism. They are robust, simple and with regard to accuracy independent of the operator.
