Internal measuring of bores is more demanding than external measurement of workpieces. Not
only the tight tolerances given for the measuring job must be respected, but also the measuring
components that have a direct influence on the uncertainty of measurement must be designed
in such a way that they can enter into the bore to be checked.
|
|
Can be used to measure through holes, blind holes and centering shoulders
Measuring spindle hardened throughout and ground
Self-centering measuring head consists of 3 laterally positioned anvils, each are offset at intervals placed of 120°

NON-CONTACT MEASUREMENT:
LAP METIS laser sensors measure cross-section and gap without touching the surface. Mechanical micrometers, that may scratch the material, are no longer necessary. There is no wear or tear, neither on the object nor on the sensor. No operator influence affects the measurement.
FAST MEASUREMENT:
Laser scan micrometers may check 100% in the production line. At 800 values per second or even 1600 values per second. No more time consuming samples and offline checks. Instead of momentary images you get errors or tendencies displayed during production, enabeling you to react before crop is produced.
PRECISE MEASUREMENT:
LAP METIS measure at repeatabilities of 2 µm to 8 µm (depending on model) due to calibration and linearisation for every single mirror of the rotating prism. Transparent material can be measured as well as shiny metal or soft and sticky rubber.
SYNCHRONIZED MEASUREMENT:
Sensors are synchronized in multi-axes measurement. Even at high production speeds, there is no mismatch or offset between measurement values in transport direction.
FLEXIBLE MEASUREMENT:
LAP METIS measure precisely up to 10 edges (transitions object - space or space - object). Multi-axes systems also measure non-round profiles as square or polygonal profiles.

Using LVDT technology, Trans-Tek manufacturers three different lines of Gaging Transducers capable of measuring up to 20 inches. Gaging transducers are often selected over free-unguided LVDTs when a hard connection cannot be made to the moving object. All units consist of a spring-loaded shaft guided through a phosphorous bronze, leaded bearing. A hardened steel contact tip touches the object to be measured.
Click on the Product Line most closely matching your requirements:
Series 310-320 AC Gaging: 0.5 to 20 inch stroke, 0.875 OD, connector term.
