New developments and improvements are constantly being made to increase the use of this clean burning, efficient fuel. Natural gas comes from underground, and thousands of kilometres of pipeline exists in Europe to transport the gas. Compressor stations located along the length of pipeline move the gas from the wellhead to consumer distribution points.
However, the raw gas from the ground requires processing and refining before it is ready fro use. The installation of Parker filters makes it possible to improve process efficiency and provide optimal process protection. The rigid, graded-density structure of Parker filter products efficiency removes solids and conaminants that would quickly plug competitive filters.

Compressed-air treatment for the most critical requirements
Cleaning of compressed air with standard filters is insufficient for many applications. For cases of this kind, the filter system V-M-A, available as single units or combinations, offers a wide range of filters to meet all requirements, from technical-clean air working equipment via process air to odour-free air for breathing.
Housing assembled from V-M-A modular system for direct flange mounting with sizes I and II. Two sizes of housing and 6 different sizes of filter element. Connecting threads from G1/4 to G2 in accordance with DIN-ISO 228. Housings and bowls are made of aluminium, plastic-coated or anodised, protected against corrosion, attractive appearance, easy to clean.
Differential pressure gauges. Indicates the pressure drop in filters. We recommend that the filter element is changed when the pressure drop exceeds 0,6 bar (red zone). Full exploitation of service life of filter saves money-timely replacement stops wastage of energy. Gauges can be fitted as desired to be readable from front or rear (double scale).
Filter elements. For every size of filter-three different elements of identical dimensions.
Fully automatic drain valve. Fitted as standard to pre-filters and micro-filters. Mounted outboard, easily accessible for maintenance. Minimum operating pressure 4 bar.

Compressed air drain trap with inbuilt strainer, in full stainless steel construction suitable for draining light moisture loads from air lines.
FEATURES:

EPG's CS-16b Condensate Separator
Since 1988, EPG Companies Inc. has built hundreds of its CS series condensate coalescer separator filter silencers for removal of both particulates and liquid droplets from air streams. Its unique up-flow design passes the air stream through a mixed media element which coalesces fine liquid vapor into larger droplets which, by gravity, drop to the bottom of the sump. Those droplets which are too small to overcome the velocity of the air stream are trapped in the separator layers of the media until they become large enough to drop out of the air stream at an efficiency of 99%. As the liquid droplets fall back down through the media pack, they tend to wash particulate matter out of the five (5) micron filter media carrying the particulates down to the sump. Inlet sound levels are absorbed in the CS vessel by change in velocity, direction and recovery trumpet. Typical sound reduction is 8 to 12 dBA. By design, the vessel including media has a pressure drop of only 1 /2" W.C. at maximum air flow. This equates to more energy available for the system.

Condensate is a by-product of all compressors. This oil/water mixture also contains particulates and hydrocarbons, and is concentrated during the compression process. Federal and local regulations prohibit discharging this contaminated water into surface drains and municipal water systems.
