Kaeser's Eco-Drain Series of electronic condensate drain traps efficiently eliminate moisture from the compressed air system. They are ideally suited for equipment such as dryers and filters. The capacitance sensor technology ensures that only condensate is released - not valuable compressed air.
Important features and advantages:
Reliable condensate removal in a variety of industrial and commercial environments
Wear-free, capacitance level sensor
Electronically controlled diaphragm valve releases condensate not compressed air
Patented valve technology protects internal components from contamination even in harsh environments
Simple installation and maintenance |

Condensate is a by-product of all compressors. This oil/water mixture also contains particulates and hydrocarbons, and is concentrated during the compression process. Federal and local regulations prohibit discharging this contaminated water into surface drains and municipal water systems. Special handling and disposing of condensate in large volumes can be quite expensive.
The Aquamat system removes the oil and contaminants from the water, reducing the amount of contaminated condensate, and significantly saving on the disposal costs.
Important features and advantages:
Saves about 90% of disposal costs
Pays for itself in a short period of time
Includes test kit to simplify water quality testing
Level sensor indicates filter contamination level allowing planned filter changes
Quick and easy filter changes
Multiple condensate inlet lines for up to four compressors (Models Aquamat 2 and up) |

It is globally recognised that condensate from oil-injected compressors is an oil-water emulsion, classified as oil residue and must not be drained into the sewage system nor into the environment. Legislation, worldwide, has become more and more stringent as to the disposal of this oily waste water.
With the introduction of the OSM 500 and 900 oil-water separators, with the latest filter membrane technology, Atlas Copco offers a most cost effective, safe, environmentally friendly and simple system to handle condensate from oil-injected compressors, fully in compliance with governmental regulations. |
|
The range of EWD electronically controlled condensate drains is synonymous with safe, dependable and economical condensate management.
The intelligent drain function monitors condensate build-up with liquid level sensors and evacuates the condensate only when necessary, thus avoiding wastage of compressed air and giving considerable energy savings.
The EWD drain device offers security and confidence, enabling you to solve all condensate discharge problems even with heavily contaminated systems.
A wide range of different EWD drains is available for oil contaminated condensate and may also be provided with additional hard coating for use with oil-free and aggressive condensate.

| Splitting plants are indispensable in their main area of application: compressed air systems. BEKOSPLIT® splitting plants clean up emulsified condensates which occur under unfavourable process conditions or with certain lubricant/compressor combinations. In addition to compressed-air condensate, BEKOSPLIT® is also suitable for treating other oil-containing industrial wastewaters: water-insoluble organic impurities oils, vegetable or animal fats and a large variety of solid contaminants can all be removed. Any heavy metals, dirt or paint particles present in the water are reliably adsorbed. |

TZ (200 cfm)
Desiccant ThermoZorb Heatless Regenerative
The ThermoZorb Series dryer is a heatless desiccant dryer made up of two ASME vassels filled with desiccant material, which are assembled together with inlet and outlet manifolds. One chamber is in operation (dryer), while the opposite chamber is regenerating using the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) method. A small volume of the dried compressed air is used to regenerate the saturated desiccant bed by expanding dried air from line pressure to atmospheric pressure, removing the water absorbed by the desiccant material. These dryers are supplied with mounted filters.
All Models are supplied with 115V-1Ph-60Hz electrics. Ratings are based on a 100 degree F inlet air temperature, 100 psiG inlet air pressure to deliver a -40 degree F pressure dew point. Maximum inlet air temperature is 120 degree F, and maximum inlet air pressure is 150 psiG.
ThermoZorb (TZ) Heatless Regenerative Dryers:
IR's TZ: The premier heatless regenerative product available on the market.
Utilizes dry, compressed air for purge regeneration.
A GP pre-filter and DP after-filter are necessary to maintain desiccant life and improve downstream air quality |

Mechanical Demand Operated
Drain Valves
Reliable and economical, mechanical demand operated drain valves do not waste any valuable compressed air. They detect the presence of liquid and only operate when filled to a pre-determined level. Upon actuation, they discharge only liquid and close before any compressed air can be exhausted. Fully automatic, mechanical demand operated drains do not require electricity to operate.
