Supply only "compressed air".
For compressed air, always use clean air chat does not contain corrosive gas.
Be sure to use non lubricated, filtrated dry air (équivalent to Class 1, 3, 2 - ISO 8571-3).
With a thorough understanding of compressed air characteristics, design a pneumatic circuit.
%u25A0 Where instantaneous stop holding at emergency stop is required, the same function as in the mechanical or hydraulic or electrical units cannot be expected.
%u25A0 There arise pop-up, jet-out and leaking phenomena caused by compressibility and expansibility, which are air characteristics.
Prior to use, always ensure that the product withstands the operating environ ment.
%u25A0 The product cannot be used in corrosive gas, chemical liquid solvent, water, water vapor (steam) and ozone atmosphère. When a product is exposed to water droplets, oil or metallic powder, such as spatters and chips, be sure to protect it.
%u25A0 No product can be used in the explosive gas atmosphère.
Always pay extra attention to the electric circuit during emergency stop, and cylinder opération, etc. during power failure.
Attach a "pressure switch" and "residual pressure discharge valve" to the compressed air inlet of the equi pment.

FRL's - FlexiBlok FRL 14/22/32/42 Series
The Numatics 14, 22, 32, and 42 Series FlexiBlok¨ line is a series of high performance air preparation products. Introduced in 1997, the FlexiBlok¨ line is made from sturdy but light weight aluminum; perfect for applications such as robotic arms which cannot afford extra weight and less expensive to ship than zinc. The block head design with integrated mounting holes eliminates costly mounting plates and adapters, making the product easier to use and install. Private labeling is easy thanks to the special templates which snap securely in the front and back of the heads. These templates can be customized with names and/or logos; perfect for OEM applications.
The 14,22,32 series conforms to ISO 1179-1 and 228-1 requirements.
The 42 series will soon also conform to these requirements. |

| The disposable Filtered Orifices are designed to remove most particulate contaminants in compressed air systems before reaching the orifice. They are available in ten color-coded orifice sizes .004” to .030” diameter. The filter media, a Dutch Weave 316 stainless steel screen, is available in 5, 25, 43, and 73 microns. Maximum supply pressure is 100 PSI. |

| High pressure compressed gas systems often contain excessive amounts of liquid aerosols. This liquid can best be removed by utilising Parker coalescing filters. A Grade (DX) filter followed by a Grade (BX) filter will remove greater than 99.995% of liquid water and/or oil carryover from the compressed gas system. This liquid can now be safely removed with Parker’s NEW High Pressure Drains (JDK). These drains are fully-assembled and are constructed of 316 Stainless Steel. They include two needle valves, fittings, and a pipe reservoir. The JDK Series is rated for 345 bar and connects to the bottom of the appropriate Parker vessel(1).These High Pressure Drains are offered in both vertical and horizontal orientations. The vertical orientation is ideal for applications in which there is adequate bowl removal clearance, while the horizontal orientation is ideal for applications with limited bowl removal clearance. Parker’s new High Pressure Drains will allow the user to safely remove condensate from a high pressure compressed gas system.Accurate operation of the drain involves keeping the first needle valve open and the second needle valve closed. The liquid that is coalesced from the filter will empty into the drain’s high pressure reservoir and fill the internal volume with liquid. When it is time to expel the liquid from the drain kit (usually on a preventative maintenance schedule),the top needle valve should be closed to shut off the system pressure. The bottom needle valve should then be opened slowly since the liquid will discharge rapidly from the drain. This procedure should be repeated until all of the liquid has been removed from the filter bowl and drain reservoir. |

The regeneration air requirement quantity is 15-18%. Flow rate as well as the regeneration air requirement are dependent on the operating pressure, inlet temperature and the dew-point of the compressed air. The maximum permissible operating pressure is 8.5 bar min/max compressed air and ambient temperature: -20°C/55°C. Higher operating pressures available on request. |

Oil and Water Vapor Adsorbers (25-2,200 scfm)
Oil vapor can be very detrimental to many products and processes including food, pharmaceutical, instrument, hospital and electronics applications. In these cases an oil adsorber should be installed downstream of both lubricated and non-lubricated air compressors as hydrocarbon vapors are found in ambient air and can be concentrated in the compressed air stream. Oil adsorbers use a charge of activated carbon to remove unwanted hydrocarbon vapors. These adsorbers can be used as single tower water vapor adsorbers with a charge of activated alumina.
Stainless steel diffuser and adsorbent support screens for superior corrosion resistance.
Down flow design for less fluidization and longer adsorbent life.
ASME section VIII designed, manufactured and stamped (where applicable) for certified quality assurance
Specially selected carbon and aluminum adsorbents for low pressure drop.
Separate fill and drain ports for ease in adsorbent replacement.
