Electromechanical actuators becoming more and more the preferred drive technology in the field of linear motion. That is because they can handle a wide range of payloads, provide the desired controlled motion and are cost competitive.
The rotational movement produced by the electric motor will be converted into linear movement by trapezoidal thread spindles installed within the thrust unit as basic design. The selection of spindle lead guarantees self locking for RACO´s electric actuators. Static loads, which can be higher than the nominal thrust, can be maintained in any intermediate position.
