Drive-in racking is ideal for homogeneous products with low levels of turnover and a high number of pallets per article type. This system offers the highest use of available space in terms of both area and height.
Advantages:
- Maximum use of available space (85%).
- Elimination of aisles between the racking.
- Rigorous entrance and exit control.
- Drive-in racking can generally accommodate as many article types as there are loading aisles.
Two management systems are available: the drive-in system, with only one access aisle, and the drive-through system, with access to the load from both sides of the rack.
The system is frequently used in cold stores (refrigeration and freezing) which require maximum use of space for the storage of products in a controlled temperature.

Ridg-U-Rak Double Deep pallet storage is a simple adaptation of placing one row of 100% selective rack behind another. Using a deep reach lift truck, the operator places the back pallet into the system first, then places another pallet in front of it. While selectivity has been reduced by one-half over standard pallet rack, twice as many pallets are stored for a given number of aisles. This increases productive use of floor space about 60% to 65%.

Pallet live storage systems play an increasingly important role in warehousing and storage technology, as users recognise their potential for improving efficiency. In the past, pallet live storage was mainly installed as a buffer store in the production area as well as in warehouses and despatch areas. Today, there is a strong tendency towards using the pallet live storage system for order picking because the FIFI principle is strictly main-tained. An equally interesting option is push-back pallet racking which allows compact storage according to the LIFO principle.
The system specific compact lane configuration in with as well as in height results in a high storage density and thus in an optimum utilisation of available warehouse volume.

Dynamic Storage flow storage for universal use with short pay-back time
Dynamic Storage systems and distribution centers are used in all industries: car industry, electronics, despatch of toys, pharmaceutical and cosmetics distribution, in construction materials, beverages and food distribution, etc.

The pay-back time is usually between 18 and 36 month. Additionally there are many advantages, as low maintenance, high performance, space saving, ease of control and organization, high degree of disposal, low cost and high turn over.
The rollers are especially developed for flow storage systems. The rollers used in Dynamic Storage are 60 mm diameter. Roller pitch and incline is adjusted to the goods handeld. The system guarantees the parallel smooth running of the heavy pallets - also within long lanes, which can contain up to 50 pallets.
A safety separator at the end of the lanes holds the accumulated load of several tons and allows only one pallet to flow smoothly and securely to the withdrawal place.
A speed controller, integrated in a roller regulates the running speed of each pallet position to a maximum of 0.3 m/s.
Control: The computer knows naturally how much and where goods are going in and out and where they are stored and controls the order picking and guides the operators.
