FEP belongs to the category of meltable fluoroplastics. Longer production lengths and improved tolerances are possible, because of a different process being used in production. There is also a great variety of sizes available. Current diameters range from 0.20 mm to 130 mm.
FEP tubes from Saint-Gobain Isofluor distinguish themselves by their excellent ductility. In most cases the permeation coefficients 0 meltable fluoroplastics are superior to those of PTFE. The chemical resistance of FEP is only slightly inferior to that of PTFE. FEP is more transparent in contrast to the milk white PTFE material. FEP tubing is always the right choice whenever the observation of the flow of liquids in the tube is necessary. FEP is a material with a very good transmittance over a wide range of wavelengths.
The tubes can be supplied on spool and in coils or already cut to length in sections to the customers' specification.

SPIRAFLEX®
Maximum heat exchange with no lime deposits
This helically corrugated pipe creates turbulence which continuously swirls and exchanges the water. Resulting from the design, the core flow has a superimposed swirling component which creates additional turbulence. This produces maximum heat exchange as well as eliminating lime deposits.
Benefits at a glance :
- surface is up to 50% larger
- heat exchange is maximized thanks to optimized wall thickness
- extremely flexible
- lime deposits are prevented by the turbulent water flow
- quality assurance with helium testing
- manufacture in "endless lengths"
- can withstand large mechanical loads
- more compact design with hot water tanks
- improved hygiene as there is no 'dead water' zone
- special items can be produced (e.g. special steel varieties, wall thicknesses, etc)
- delivery: drums, rings or registers
Areas of application
Heat/cold exchangers for hot water tanks, geothermal applications, waste water heat

SAT tubing is produced with specially designed exstruders and extrusion process in clean-room, we use only PFA and FEP UHP certificated, SAT is certified ISO 9001, during the exstrusion we have the costant control of the OD and ID by electronic laser and a sy for the discharge of the electrostatic charge, all the components of the exstruder are manufactured with special materials that don't release impurity. Tubing cleanliness is maintained during and after extrusion including continue nitrogen purge, immediate capping and packaging in heat-sealed double polyethylene bags. The tubing coils are stocked in clean-room.

Although 95A Durometer is the hardest compound used for Polyurethane tubing, it is still more flexible and has a smaller bend radius (without kinking) than most other plastic tubing. Production from an ether-based (polytetra-methylene glycol ether) raw material assures resistance to moisture, fungus, abrasion and a broad range of chemicals making it a popular choice for many applications. A wide selection of colors makes it adaptable to the functional and aesthetic requirements of most pneumatic circuits and equipment.

SAFE, DURABLE AND COST-EFFECTIVE
Today glycol systems are being more commonly used in beverage dispense systems; either in python, in heat dump systems, or to achieve sub-zero waterbath temperatures. Valpar has tube options to suit each specific application.
Features
• Glycomaster is capable of resisting high temperatures
• EAUV is UV-resistant
• Polyethylene (MDP) is suitable for glycol cooling lines in python
Benefits
• Custom-designed to reduce risk of bursting
• EAUV is suitable for outdoor applications
• Valpar Glycomaster is designed to work with heat dump systems where the emphasis is on high temperatures with short-term peak performance at 90°C. Glycomaster is a multi-layer tube suitable for both monopropylene glycol and ethylene glycol up to a ratio of 50:50 (by volume).
• Valpar EAUV tube is also designed for heat dump applications and is resistant to UV light, although exposure to direct sunlight should be kept to a minimum. This tube is suitable for temperatures up to 50°C. EAUV is a monolayer tube suitable for both monopropylene glycol and ethylene glycol up to a ratio of 50:50 (by volume).
• Valpar Polyethylene (MDP) is suitable where glycol rather than water is used as recirculation fluid inside a python in order to obtain below zero temperatures. For more details on Polyethylene (MDP), please refer to the Valpar Polyethylene page.
• As safety is of prime importance in glycol applications please ensure your choice of tubing fits your system needs.

Maximum abrasion resistance, less wear and tear
Inline hose with 5.5 times service life
Masterflex AG has developed a unique process for producing hoses which are seamlessly smooth on the inside, thus achieving hose qualities with a previously unknown smoothness. “The Master polyurethane inline hoses offer the unique combination of maximum abrasion resistance with enormous wall thicknesses, low weight and amazing bending radii”, explains Detlef Herzog, Managing Director of Masterflex AG. “And so they are a real competitor to the heavy rubber hose.”
The patented process combines the advantages of the extruded hose with the special characteristics of the materials with which the hose’s smoothness is achieved. During manufacture, the hose is furnished with different hi-tech components. In the case of conventional hoses, the construction-induced weld seam is a major weak spot because the corrosion of the material to be conveyed takes place on the edges of the seam. By cleverly combining the materials, the hose is suitable for all manner of fields of application, specially for the transport of abrasive and corrosive media. Test results have shown that under comparable conditions the inline hose will last at least 5.5 times longer than the best rubber hose tested in the company’s laboratory using the procedure according to DIN 53516.

Colex Vendhose is a multi-layer food quality flexible Hose manufactured from EVA material, lined with Low Density Polyethylene and reinforced with a 1000 Denier high tenacity polyester yarn.
Both the EVA and the Polyethylene are approved for food contact applications in Europe and USA.
It has been tested in accordance with BS6920 and has achieved WRAS approval for the conveyance of hot and cold potable water (WRC approval No. 0808528)
* PVC free
* Excellent chemical resistance
* Flexible
Applications
Cold water connections to vending machines, Conveyance of soft drinks in cellar to bar installations, Chemical lines and some liquid foodstuffs.
This Hose is PVC free making it suitable for a range of applications where end users are concerned about the possibility of Phthalate (Plasticizer) migration.
Chemical Resistance
Vendhose has the same excellent chemical resistance as Low-Density Polyethylene. The flexibility of these hoses is not dependent on the use of plasticizers therefore the problems resulting from plasticizer extraction or migration do not occur.
