Top Line Electropolished tubing sets the standard for service in applications requiring finishes to 15RA maximum. Available in sizes from 1/2" to 4" OD, this full finished stainless steel tubing is available from stock or direct from the mill in 20 foot lengths. All electropolished tubing is fully tested and marked per ASTM A450 requirements. 3
All Top line electropolished tubing is packaged using protective 6 mil poly sleeving with air tight end caps. The tubing is then packageg in wood or Tri-Wall corrugated cartons for maximum protection during shipment.
Finish: Electropolished Tubing is standard with a 15RA max ID with bright annealed/mill OD (ASME BPE surface finish code SFT4). Mechanically polished OD to 32RA or 20RA available on application. The same product is available with a 10RA max. surface finish ID.
Annealing: All tubing is Bright Annealed to a minimum of 1900 degrees F (1040° C) and rapidly quenched.
Cleaning: All Top Line electropolished tubing is rinsed with low TOC de-ionized water. The tubing is then dry purged with 99.998% pure Nitrogen which is filtered to .003 micron at the point of use. The cleaning and packaging is done in a class 100< cleanroom. |

The construction of networks for conveying and evacuation waste water constitutes one of the fundamental services for ensuring the functionality of our cities, for safeguarding the public and for preserving the quality of the environment we live in. Designing the maximum safety, realizing and laying systems for conveying waste waters therefore presuppose a high level of reliability in the materials used which must guarantee the total tightness of the drainage network. The intrinsic characteristics of PVC combined with the new integrated junction system protect the ground and water table from pollution thanks to the perfect hydraulic tightness of the joint which prevents dangerous leakage of waste waters. It is of course necessary to realize sewage systems using materials which ensure fast and economical laying, efficient tightness over time, and limited deterioration with ageing, in order to guarantee an adequate life for the system and a reduced incidence of running costs and maintenance activities. Starting from the experience acquired in the production of piping in PVC for carrying fluids under pressure in which a connection system with integrated ring has already been used, Faraplan Spa decided to extend its production technology which envisages prefitting the gasket with heat during the socket-forming stage, to the range of pipes for sewers manufactured to UNI EN 1401 standards for the SN 8 KN/m2 annular rigidity class only.

The Blu Phon system has been created in accordance with the provisions of UNI EN 1329-1 standards which specifies the requirements for pipes and professional fittings and for the systems of non-plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) piping in the drainage field (at low and high temperatures) both inside the structure of buildings (marked "B") and underground within the structure of the building (marked "BD"). The annular rigidity exceeds class SN4. Furthermore, its fireproof characteristics have been determined using the EN 13823 methods which simulates its applications.

The requirements for PVC-U pipes used for carrying drinking water are defined by the EN 1452 standard, integrated by Health Ministry circulars dated 21/03/1973 and no. 174 of 06/04/2004. The intrinsic characteristics of the material render it inert to most solutions of acids, salts and bases, thereby ensuring that their surface does not become attacked by incrustation during normal service. This makes it possible to maintain great stability of the roughness coefficient with the passage of time and endows the pipe with unquestionable and accepted hygienic advantages.
