Active Carbon
Carbon Bed Filters are of vertical fabricated construction generally mounted on skirts.
In operation, the process fluid enters the filter above the bed, through the inlet nozzle and via radial distribution lateral, designed to ensure an even flow distribution over the top surface of the carbon.
The contaminated medium passes through the granular activated carbon bed, where the impurities are attracted to the very high surface area of the Carbon.
The carbon bed is supported on a graded 'Silex' base consisting of a course and fine layer of which will fully support large volumes of carbon.

Each filter houses bag type elements mounted onto a division plate and held positively in position by means of snap rings.
The elements are manufactured from man-made cotton fibre and offer high dirt holding capacity combined with a low maintenance costs and quick change out of filter bags, making this a cost effective means of filtration.
The filter bags are fully supported in robust stainless steel support housings, and will meet the levels of efficiency corresponding to your requirements. |

EPS cartridges are designed to meet the special needs of the electronics and high purity chemical industries. Polyethersulfone membrane cartridges are resistant to most acids and bases and capable of handling strong sanitization agents. High flow rates make Polyethersulfone a good choice for central DI water systems. This membrane will also handle elevated process temperatures in compatible fluids. To minimize extractables, each cartridge module is pulse, power flushed until the rinse effluent reaches 17+ Megohm-cm and less than 3 ppb TOC. Each cartridge module is also individually tested.

CPD pleated polypropylene depth cartridges are designed for clarifying applications requiring high flow capacity. The depth media utilized in the CPD product line is high loft Melt-blown polypropylene which gives exceptional flow characteristics and high dirt holding capacity because of its high internal porosity. Fine polypropylene fibers are bonded together to ensure no fiber release in a fiber matrix that maintains high porosity. Rated at 99.9% efficiencies make it a cost effective filter designed to extend final filter life.

General grade membrane cartridges are designed for general purpose use wherever a cost effective membrane filter is required and is offered in polyethersulfone, nylon, Teflon, and polypropylene. Designed to hold the maximum amount of filter media that can be completely and effectively utilized in a cartridge, General grade membrane filters lower the cost of filtration . Membrane cartridges are flushed with 17+ megohm-cm water to remove potential extraneous manufacturing debris. These cartridge modules are also individually tested. Priced below special purpose cartridges, General grade membrane cartridges are still manufactured with the same careful attention to both quality and performance.

Vertical Filter Separator
The Plenty Vertical Filter Separator will remove 100% of all droplets 8-10 microns and larger and 99.5% of all droplets ½-8 microns in size.
It will also remove 100% of all solid particles, 3 microns and larger 99% of all particles ½-3 microns in size.
These operating efficiencies apply over the entire flow range from maximum design down to virtually zero flow.
The first stage of the filter separator consists of a number of glass fibre coalescer /filter elements through which the wet gas passes.
The small liquid drops carried in the gas stream are trapped within the glass fibres of the element and coalesce to form drops 100 to 200 times larger than the original size.
These drops pass through the element wall and are carried forward by the gas stream to the second stage vane type separator.
The second stage consists of a vane type impingement separator, which operates exactly as described for vane separator.
