Kawasaki Robots F-Series
The F-Series includes robots with a payload of 3 up to 60 kg. All robots can be mounted on floor, wall or ceiling (except for FS003N and FD050N).
F-Series is available in different basic specifications for Standard(handling), clean room and welding.(FS-, FC-, FA-Series).
The design of the FD50N (4+1 axis) with a compensating fifth axis that replaces the more complicated parallelogramm leads to a smaller robot arm.
The modular concept of the F-Series gives the customer the possibility of optimisation based on payload, reach or speed.

Motoman SIA20 Assembly Robot
Compact, Lean and Powerful Arm
Lean and powerful, Motoman’s new SIA20 (slim, individual arm) robot features a revolutionary 7-axis design with best-in-class wrist performance characteristics that enables amazing freedom of movement, coupled with the ability to maneuver in very tight areas. The compact SIA20 has a 16% smaller footprint than the previous IA20 model, as well as five times faster acceleration for improved cycle times. The agile, versatile SIA20 opens up a wide range of industrial applications to robots and is ideal for assembly, injection molding, inspection, machine tending and a host of other operations.
The SIA20 robot features a 20 kg (44.1 lb) payload, 1,498 mm (59") vertical reach, 910 mm (35.8") horizontal reach and a repeatability of ±0.1 mm (0.004"). It can straighten vertically to take up only one square foot of floorspace and is just 330 mm (13") wide at the widest point.
Short axis lengths and extreme motion flexibility allow the slim manipulator to be positioned out of the normal working area (i.e. floor-, ceiling-, wall-, incline- or machine-mounted) without limiting the motion range of any axis. Mounting the SIA20 robot between two machine tools provides open access to the machines for fixture maintenance, adjustment or testing. Additionally, the operator has clear access to the machine operator station for entering offsets, maintenance or other operations.

Since YASKAWA Electric released the first all-electric industrial robot in Japan in 1977, the MOTOMAN, we have continued to lead the international industrial robot industry.
A wide range of industrial robots has been released since, especially in our core field of welding robots, but also for handling, assembly, painting and cleanroom applications. Today, they are hard at work around the world.
We were one of the first robotics companies to work on semiconductor manufacturing technology, and the development of mechatronic equipment led to the clean/vacuum robot and wafer handling devices. We will continue to develop technology to answer the requirements of shrinking IC geometry and growing wafer size

Kawasaki's line of palletizing robots provide industry leading long reach and high payload capabilities. Kawasaki palletizing robots can handle loads up to 880 lbs. and speeds of more than 2,400 cycles per hour.
|
|
Designed specifically for palletizing applications, the four-axis EPL500 “Expert Palletizing” robot is a high-performace manipulator that features internally routed air lines and wiring between the base of the robot and the end-of-arm tool. This virtually eliminates cable and hose wear.
The EPL500 features a 500-kg (1,102.5 lb) payload capacity with a 3,159-mm (124.4") horizontal reach. EPL-series robots are available with 80-, 160-, 300-, and 500-kg payloads to meet a wide range of palletizing requirements.
The EPL500 can service multiple infeed conveyors and/or pallet build locations. Its fast axial speeds (up to 445º per second) reduce cycle times and increase production output.
MotoSim EG off-line programming software is available as an option to simplify programming of palletizing applications.

The M-Series is divided in the MX- and MD-Series.
In the MX- Series we present high end robots with 6 axes. Despite an extremly high load capacity ( from 350 up to 500 Kg), the robot arm is characterised through a compact design. In this series we present three models as the MX500N, the MX420L and the MX350L.

The powerful new M Series robots have carrying capacities of up to 500 kg (1200 lbs). To accompany this extreme payload lifting capability, Kawasaki has developed an ultra high-torque wrist that enables payloads to be fully manipulated at high speed throughout the entire work envelope. The M Series robot wrist has the highest rated torque in its class and more than double the torque of other high payload robots.
The Kawasaki M Series robots are the first robots to utilize a revolutionary advanced link design (patent pending), enabling the robot to lift extremely large payloads without the use of a bulky counterbalance. This compact profile allows the robot to be manipulated in a confined work zone without the risk of interference from a large obtrusive counterbalance. This unique M Series arm design is available in three different length configurations with a maximum reach of over 3 meters.
The M Series robots, along with the latest technology Kawasaki D controller, are loaded with advanced capabilities, features and options. Collision detection and vibration suppression control software allow the robot to manipulate large loads smoothly and safely. Six common high-torque servo motors are utilized for high power and easy maintenance. Interchangeable arm design allows for future upgrades to lengthen or reduce robot reach. Numerous upgrades are available to cater to most any high payload application.
The M Series robot is ideal for applications involving: engines, auto-bodies, heavy vehicle assemblies, large castings and forgings, billets, appliances, construction and agricultural equipment, etc.

The Kawasaki F Series design is a direct response to our customers' needs. There are 17 configuration variations that perform a wide range of applications including material handling, arc welding, sealant dispensing, clean room operation, and washing. The modular construction allows the customer to select from a wide variety of robot models and arm combinations for various reaches and payloads. This modular construction also allows for easy modification of existing F Series robots, by using common components. Due to their light weight and use of high output, high efficiency motors, the F Series is capable of moving at high speeds, which significantly decreases cycle times and increases productivity. The installation space requirement is very small, yet, with its wide range of motion, the work envelope is exceptionally large. The extremely slim arm construction allows the F Series robot to operate in confined areas that would otherwise be inaccessible to more bulky robots.
