This 750 W MAC motor is an AC servo motor and controller combined in a single unit, offering previously unseen low pricing for the OEM market. In the MAC motor, the servo motor, hall sensors, industrial encoder and control circuitry have been especially designed by JVL to provide a self-contained, integrated unit in which the driver and controller are mounted behind the motor in a sealed housing.
Numerous Advantages
There are many benefits achieved from having the intelligence at the device level:
- Reduced material costs Because the drive and controller are in the motor most cabling to a control panel is eliminated
- Reduced labor costs. With cabling eliminated, assembly time is greatly reduced
- Better quality & reliability. Fewer connections, less wiring
- Ease of serviceability. Because all electronics are self contained you simply change out the motor
- Better noise immunity, less noise transmission. I/O is integral eliminating noise induced from external wiring issues. Switching noise from the drive due to commutation is contained in the motor
- Reduced setup time. 4th order digital professional filter requires only one tuning parameter for load or reflected inertia
- OEM cost savings. Modular approach means you only pay for the functionality required |

| By definition, mechatronic systems control physical processes by goal-directed motions which are calculated by an intelligent control system drawing information from its environment. SONCEBOZ mechatronic systems therefore typically consist of step motors or manufacturer of linear actuators with integrated processor control and power electronics. The systems have interfaces for control and sensor signals and in specific applications they are also coupled via data busses such as CAN, RS 485 etc. into communications networks. The compact standard products in the form of Top Drive hybrid step motors with integrated power electronics and pulse/direction interfaces are used wherever low dimensions, low running noise and simplified cabling plus rapid operational availability are required. |

| Our AC synchronous servomotors have a very high power density and enable highly dynamic positioning drives with an excellent price/performance ratio. For maximum flexibility, the servomotors are compatible with the standard servo connection dimensions. The AC synchronous servomotors are equipped with an absolute sensor system: SinCos® Singleturn (SRS, SKS) or SinCos® Multiturn (SRM, SKM). The professional encoder system with the Hiperface® interface enables auto-initialisation of the motor and current controller parameters. This greatly simplifies the commissioning procedure of the drive system. |

Together with our AZS servo-drievs, D.Electron can supply a complete range of brushless servomotors with permanent magnets.
All the motors can be mounted with the following transducers:
Sin-Cos 1Vpp
EnDat (Absolute)
TTL + Sensore Hall
D.Electron motors meet the ever more demanding requirements of the Machine-tools: need of higher and higher performances, smoothness at low speed, reliability and absence of service.
This series of servomotors uses the last-generation magnets (Neodymium-Iron-Boron) and adopts technical solutions that ensure:
• Sinusoidal back EMF
• Interchangeability with other commercially available units
• Reduced inertia, that is high accelerations and decelerations
• High overload capability
• Low torque cogging
D.Electron supplies motors only together with its CNC and AZS drive system (full packet) |

The IG series DC brushless three-phase servomotor delivers high continuous torque in a cost reduced package.
The increased torque is the result of eight magnetic poles on the rotor compared to the traditional four magnetic poles. This design uses rare earth magnets for maximum performance. The IG series has an open-lamination design reducing cost. This series come with NEMA standard flanges size 17, 23, 34, and 42 with continuous torque rating from 25 to 820 oz-in (0.18 to 5.80 Nm).
An optical encoder having A, B and C industrial encoder tracks and uvw commutation tracks comes standard with the servomotor. Encoder resolutions available are 500, 1000, 2000, 2048, 4096, and 8192 ppr (pulse per revolution).
The servomotor is designed with a 40 in (101.6 cm) shielded/grounded power and encoder cable extending from the rear of the servomotor for professional fitting into those tight locations.
Both IP 40 and IP 65 are available for the environmental rating. All models are available with gear heads.
The motors are available with and without a build-in holding brake. The motor length and specifications would vary if a servomotor with a brake is chosen.
