| The RNG Series meter is an insertion-style gas flow meter designed to offer high accuracy measurements over an extremely large flow range. The meter has no moving parts and is virtually maintenance-free once installed. The RNG series is suitable for most gas types, including compressed air, natural gas and wet or "biogas" applications. All meters in this series are loop-powered devices with standard HART® communications for ease of field programming and system integration. Through the use of an internal RTD and an external pressure sensor (optional), the flow meter software will compensate for changes in pressure and temperature, to achieve an accurate mass flow measurement. |

AALBORG®'s VORTEX METERS for steam, liquid, and gas applications have no moving parts to wear or fail. In-line (WAFER or FLANGE mounting) and INSERTION (fixed or retractable) models need less maintenance. Unique dual signal processing technology independently measures each vortex, filters out non-flow noise, and increases accuracy and turndown.
PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION:
Vortices are created when a fluid passes around a bluff
body as shown below. Vortices are alternately shed on each
side of the body, 180 degrees out of phase to each other,
resulting in an oscillating pressure gradient. As flow increases
the frequency of vortices increases in proportion to the
increased flow thereby creating a linear relationship.
BENEFITS:
RELIABLE: Electronics can be remote mounted.
No fluid-to-sensor contact.
No holes to clog.
WIDE RANGEABILITY: High flow turndown ratio up to 80:1.
HIGH ACCURACY: ±0.5% of rate.
INCREASED NOISE CANCELLATION: Non-flow noise filtered out. |

For years, Vortex Shedding Technology has been a economical and reliable (no moving parts) way to measure liquids, steam and constant density gas flows. Sierra's Volumetric Vortex product line features an inline version, the Model 220 Innova-Flo® and a unique insertion version, the Model 221 Innova-Flo®. The Model 220 is an accurate, repeatable, rugged and reliable volumetric flow meter that provides an economical way to monitor liquid flows, steam or constant density gases, product accuracy is ± 0.7% of rate for liquids and ±1.0% of rate for gases and steam over a 30:1 range. The insertion Model 221 can be made for pipe sizes up to 72 inches and has an accuracy is ± 1.2% of rate for liquids and ±1.5% of rate for gases and steam over a 30:1 range. When you need to economically and reliably measure liquid flows, think Innova-Flo®!

| The RWG and RWBG Series meters are wafer-style in-line flow meters designed to offer high accuracy gas flow measurements with very low pressure drop. The meters have no moving parts and are virtually maintenance-free once installed. The RWG series is suitable for most gas types. The RWBG series is similar in construction but optimized for low-pressure "wet gas" or "BioGas" applications, typically CH4 + CO2 mixtures. All meters in these series are loop-powered devices with standard HART® communications, CE mark and optional ATEX hazardous area certification. Through the use of an internal RTD and an external pressure sensor (optional), the flow meter software will compensate for changes in pressure and temperature, to achieve an accurate mass flow measurement. |

| Racine Vortex offers high-accuracy vortex-shedding flow meters for a number of liquids and gases. The product line is quite unique: by incorporating ultrasonic technology, the meter's bluff body ("strut") has a considerably smaller footprint compared with other vortex-shedding flow meters. This results in very low pressure drop in the system. Meters are available in wafer (in-line, 1/2" to 4" size) or insertion styles (4" line size and higher). This vortex-shedding technology involves no moving parts, and the meters are virtually maintenance-free. Loop-powered gas flow meters offer HART communications, temperature compensation for mass flow measurement and gas flow standardization, CE-mark and optional ATEX hazardous area certification. Liquid flow meters also carry the CE mark. |

The RWS Series meter is a wafer-style in-line flow meter designed to offer high accuracy measurements of saturated steam flow in a variety of applications. The meter has no moving parts and is virtually maintenance-free once installed. All meters in these series are loop-powered devices with standard HART ® communications for ease of field programming and system integration.
Racine Vortex flow meters utilize the smallest strut in the industry, which allows for high levels of sensitivity; superior performance at very low flow rates; high turndown ratios; and low pressure drop.
Through the use of an internal RTD and an external pressure sensor (optional), the flow meter software will compensate for changes in pressure and temperature, to achieve an accurate mass flow measurement. |
