The "ELE" portable system is designed to solve problems of vehicle exhaust gas extraction during engine testing procedures in enclosed places not equipped with fixed wall or ceiling-mounted extraction systems. The range includes models and accessories specifically designed for use in motorcycle, car, truck and heavy vehicle repair shops; simply connect the trolley-mounted unit to the mains power supply and route the expulsion hose to the exterior of the building to keep the workplace free of harmful exhaust emissions. Thanks to its compact size and low weight the unit can easily be stowed clear of the vehicle manoeuvring space when not in use.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The system allows the removal of exhaust gas by positioning the specific intake, adjustable by means of a column equipped with a slideably mounted mechanical locking device that can be manually fixed at the required height, in correspondence with the vehicle tailpipe. The range also features positioners, ancillary equipment and accessories for use on twin exhausts or tailpipes located in non-standard positions. The exhaust gas is removed by means of an extractor fan sized to ensure the expulsion of fumes via a supplied hose with heat resistance up to 125°c. The unit's control and thermal protection panel feeds a singlephase electric motor (ELE facile on request) connected to the 230V mains supply by means of a 6-metre flame retardant power cord and a regulation single-phase power receptacle.
