Description
The GAI1/GAI3 type SF6 which is manufactured by CG GIS, has protection against dangerous overpressure through bursting membranes. The gear has a light weight and gastight aluminium enclosure. It has single phase enclosed design and small dimensions which allows economical saving of space. The switchgear is shipped as large sub-assemblies and as complete factory-tested packaged feeders.
The unit has sealed welded or cast aluminium enclosures, cast aluminium flanges, and other different aluminum castings.It has earthed enclosures to ensure maximum protection against electrical shock for the operating personnel. The unit requires low maintenance and has a long service life. All the harmful effects which is caused by corona and radio interferences are completely eliminated.
