Moxa Europe

Wireless ethernet bridge
Moxa Europe

Moxa's AWK-5222 AP/bridge/client has two independent RF modules to resist disconnections caused by radio interference. This robust feature makes the AWK-5222 series the most stable wireless solution for critical industrial wireless applications. The two independent RF modules create a exclusive wireless redundancy mode to increase the reliability of your entire wireless network. The AWK-5222 not only gives you a highly reliable solution for your industrial wireless networks, but also offers you a greater variety of wireless connection configurations to fit different wireless applications. For example, its wireless bridge mode is designed to optimize the problem of WDS (Wireless Distribution System) mode’s poor performance. On the other hand, the AWK-5222’s AP Client mode can be used to provide Internet access in areas where cabling would be too expensive or impractical to install. The AWK-5222 is a rugged, IEEE 802.11 a/b/g-compliant, 3-in-1 industrial wireless AP/bridge/client also compliant with IEEE 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). With high speed Turbo Roaming™, which is great for rolling stock applications, and fast BSS (Basic Service Set) transition between access points, data transmission latency is prevented and wireless network roaming is seamless and super fast. On top of it all, the AWK-5222 is equipped with dual Ethernet ports that support RSTP or Turbo Ring™ for added reliability for your entire network.

Features:
‧Redundant dual-RF design for rapid failover
‧Industrial wireless AP/bridge/Client with IEEE 802.11a/b/g
‧100 ms Turbo Roaming™ for rapid handover during client roaming
