SECO/WARWICK ThermAL S.A. Ammonia crackers are normally supplied for use with heat treatment equipment, where the high hydrogen content in the furnace atmosphere is required with a low dew point.

Typical processes where a dissociated ammonia atmosphere is used are:

Bright annealing of stainless steel
Bright hardening of high-carbon and high-chromium steel
Bright annealing of high-carbon steel excluding soft-skins
Copper brazing of ferrous metals and stainless steel.
