Adding position sensors is simplified with the EasiFix feature, self-locking cams are securely fastened to a splined shaft and can be quickly and accurately adjusted by hand in seconds
Visual position indication is provided by the HiVue Local Visual Display, an impact and corrosion resistant valve position monitor capable of displaying exact valve position from any direction at distances of up to 150 feet
All AVID™ position monitors are directly mounted to allow mounting with "factory integrity". Units are standard with ModMount assembly for direct low profile mounting to Tyco™ Rack & Pinion actuators and NAMUR drives for bracket mounting
The EaziCal IR positioner enclosure is manufactured from a highly corrosion resistant engineered resin (nylon), with a clear impact resistant polycarbonate cover. The clear polycarbonate cover allows for an infrared signal from a handheld remote to be received by a sensor located within the enclosure initiating the calibration procedure. The entire procedure is completed within a few minutes. The infrared capability allows plant operating personnel to avoid placing themselves in unsafe situations while attempting to recalibrate installed equipment.
