The VEGABAR S16 has a capacitive measuring cell dry ceramics CERTEC®. The pressure process involves a variation of the capacity in the measuring cell by the ceramics membrane. This variation is converted into a signal normalized 4 ... 20 my. The complete cell is out of very pure ceramics and is characterized by a very high behaviour with the overloads like by a very good long-term stability.

The VEGABAR S16 is a pressure pick-up intended for the measurement of relative, absolute pressure or of vacuum. The measured products are the gases, vapors and liquids. The principal applicability is measurements of level in the food and pharmaceutical sector.
