The high-pressure sight glass Type 522 is designed for demanding industrial applications to allow safe, real-time visual monitoring of processes. It combines a robust metallic body with high-quality sight plates for bilateral observation.

Construction and materials

• Body in corrosion-resistant stainless steel alloys (e.g. 1.4571); nickel-based alloys or Hastelloy® available on request for aggressive or thermally stressed environments.
• Two oppositely arranged sight plates of thermally tempered borosilicate glass, to DIN 7080.
• Internal threaded connections selectable according to DIN EN ISO 228-1 (BSP) or ANSI B 1.20.1 (NPT).
• Option for double glazing.
