The tubular sight glass type 620A offers a full 360° view of the process medium via a borosilicate glass cylinder and is designed for flange connections per ASME B16.5.

Overview

• Complete 360° visual inspection through a borosilicate glass tube.
• Flanged connection on both ends; standard flanges in stainless steel, other materials on request.
• Suitable for liquid and gaseous media; near dead-space-free design for hygienic processes.

Materials & sealing

• Glass: borosilicate glass 3.3 (DIN ISO 3585) for high temperature and chemical resistance and excellent optical clarity.
• Standard flange material: stainless steel 1.4571 (316Ti); special alloys (Hastelloy®, duplex steels, other high-performance alloys) available on request.
• Seals: choice from a large range (>50) of flat gasket materials, e.g. PTFE (Teflon®), NBR, novaphit® MST-XP, KlingerSil® C4400 and classic fiber materials.

• Design, strength calculation and manufacture according to AD 2000 and PED 2014/68/EU.
• Flange connection compatible with ASME B16.5 RF 150 lbs mating flanges.
