The intermediate flange tubular sight glass Type 640 is a compact in-line solution for visual process monitoring of media in pipelines, designed for installation between V-flanges (V-flange type 11) according to DIN EN 1092-1. It is suitable for liquid and gaseous media and can be configured for a range of nominal sizes, pressures and temperatures.

Materials & Temperature / Pressure- Standard material: thermally hardened borosilicate glass — high resistance to thermal and chemical stress; standard maximum operating temperature up to 280 °C.
- Alternative material: acrylic glass (indicated in table for some properties).
- Standard working pressure: up to 16 barg (depending on nominal size; higher operating pressures over 16 barg possible for larger nominal sizes in specific configurations).
