Description

The flow sight glass type 595 is a robust 4-way welded flow sight glass with two sight openings designed for comprehensive process monitoring and easy installation between flanges according to DIN EN 1092-1.

Product information
  • 4-way design with two sight openings allows observation of flow from different directions and comprehensive process control.
  • Welded construction provides high mechanical robustness; standard lengths according to DIN EN 558-1 make the sight glass suitable for retrofitting in existing systems.
  • Designed for operating pressures up to 400 barg; high operating pressures are achievable even at larger nominal sizes.
  • Standard glass: borosilicate (suitable up to 280 °C). With an additional mica protection disc or in combination with MAXOS® safety sight glasses (DIN 7080) temperatures up to 300 °C or 320 °C are possible.
  • Sealing is performed with flat seals from a wide range of materials, including fiber-based seals and more demanding materials such as PTFE (Teflon®), NBR, novaphit® MST-XP, KlingerSil® C4400 and other brand seals.
