Description

Overview
The Ergo TPS is a compact, high-pressure Prime Line compressor engineered for the reliable production of breathing air. It combines a 3-stage pumping unit, a dual-cartridge Hyperfilter purification system and an open service-friendly frame to deliver continuous operation and simplified maintenance.

3-stage high pressure pumping unit

Electric motor
Available with single-phase or three-phase electric motor options (approx. 5.5–7.5 kW). Motor transmits motion to the pumping unit via a belt drive to ensure reliable power transmission.

Hyperfilter purification system
The Hyperfilter is a dual-cartridge purification system positioned after the final compressor separator and before the pressure-holding valve. Cartridge 1: molecular sieve for moisture removal. Cartridge 2: molecular sieve + activated carbon to remove oil vapours and contaminants. Designed to meet breathing-air treatment requirements (use original cartridges). Filtering capacity: 3,050 m³ (inlet air 20°C @ 200 bar).

Electrical cabinet and controls

  • Electromechanical and electronic pressure switches for automatic stop at final pressure
  • Automatic drainage of separators between stages and final separator during operation
  • Timer for automatic condensate drain device
  • Integrated no-load startup (automatic discharge at each shutdown)
  • Condensate collection tank 5 L (≈3 L usable) with silencer
  • Interstage pressure gauges to monitor pressures and assist valve-tightness checks


Frame and maintenance
Open frame for easy access and transport; tilting motor carrier plate maintains constant V-belt tension. Thermo-formed protective casing channels cooling air over cylinders and interstage piping to optimise compression efficiency. Control console includes interstage gauges, internal temperature indicator, phase-sequence and oil-level alarms, run/stop and manual condensate drain controls. Frame: steel with scratch-resistant powder coating RAL 9005 black.
