Product Overview: The VIBROSTORE 100E (VST-100E) is a robust, easy-to-use portable device for monitoring and analyzing vibrations on semi-critical and small to medium-sized machines. It displays vibration levels and performs basic vibration analysis functions using the machine's rotational speed, helping to diagnose faults such as imbalance, misalignment, and looseness. The VIBROSTORE 100E is approved for use in "explosive risk environments" in accordance with the ATEX directive. Generally, the system is designed to measure vibrations of equipment such as pumps, motors, fans, and bearings. The device displays vibration frequency traces and allows monitoring of their intensity as well as the condition of the bearings. All measurements are collected by the VST-100E and can be displayed within 3 seconds at the press of a button. The powerful ReO software allows exporting collected measurement data for further analysis and calculations. ReO displays relevant traces and graphs to efficiently identify and analyze vibration-related problems on rotating machines. Applications: - Steam turbines - Gas turbines - Diesel engines - Gas engines Display Values of the VST-100E: When a measurement is taken, the main screen provides an overview of the machine's vibration status. The three values displayed on the measurement reading screen are: - ISO value (vibration velocity in mm/s or in/s) - Bearing noise in BDU (Bearing Damage Unit) - Vibration acceleration (in g) The screen shows the vibration level at the entered rotational speed for the machine, displayed under three bar graphs, enabling diagnostics (imbalance, misalignment, looseness). - ISO Value (mm/s): The ISO value (in mm/s or in/s) is the RMS vibration velocity calculated in the frequency band from 10 Hz (600 RPM) to 1 kHz (60,000 RPM) or from 2 Hz (120 RPM) to 1 kHz (60,000 RPM) according to ISO1 standard. The VST-100E automatically selects the correct frequency band based on shaft speed. - Bearing Noise (BDU): Below the ISO value, the bearing noise value (high-frequency vibrations) is displayed in Bearing Damage Units (BDU), where 100 BDU corresponds to a vibration of 1 gRMS measured in the frequency band between 1 kHz and 10 kHz. This is an indicator of bearing degradation. The higher the value, the greater the bearing defect. - Vibration Acceleration (in g): This is the vibration acceleration value in g (RMS) of a band-filtered signal. This global band extends from 10 Hz to 10 kHz. The measurement is displayed in g (acceleration due to gravity at Earth's surface, with 1 g = 9.81 m/s²). Docking Station: The VST-100E communicates with the docking station via a USB port. It is delivered in its carrying case, with an acceleration sensor, a magnet for curved surfaces, a docking station, a USB cable, and a measurement cable. ReO Software: ReO is PC software that allows users to view trends of vibration measurement values recorded with the VST-100E to predict machine condition, analyze spectral measurements, and generate reports. The software can display vibration data in various ways: as frequency spectra, bearing noise graphs, ISO trend graphs, or cascade diagrams.
