Description

Product Details Vibration transmitters (velocity or displacement) provide a simple and economical solution for general monitoring of vibrations in rotating equipment. They deliver an analog output to existing PLC or DCS systems and allow external monitoring of vibration levels in other systems. - They simply transfer (“transmit”) a specific predefined measurement (e.g., vibration velocity mm/s rms) and a measurement range (e.g., 0…20 mm/s rms) to a DCS or PLC via a standardized signal such as 4-20 mA. - A transmitter thus “translates” a specific type and range of measurement into a signal that a higher-level control system can process. The DT-12x integrated displacement transmitter series is ideal for monitoring semi-critical auxiliary machines such as fans, pumps, blowers, motors, or small compressors. The displacement transmitter can be directly connected to a phase control system (DCS) or a programmable logic controller (PLC) via its 4-20 mA output. The VT-110/120 velocity transmitters offer a reliable and economical monitoring solution for overall vibration measurement and trend analysis of the housing vibration level using a digital speed control system (DCS) or an industrial programmable logic controller (PLC). It is suitable for small and medium-sized machines such as fans, pumps, compressors, industrial turbines, and other rotating equipment with bearings. The hermetic industrial vibration velocity transmitter VT-110, powered by a 4-20 mA loop, is designed to monitor vibrations in harsh industrial environments. It uses the standard 4-20 mA loop, which interfaces directly with the PLC, DCS, and 4-20 mA monitor. Measurements compliant with the most relevant standards (ISO 10816) or an extended frequency range from 3 to 1,000 Hz are suitable for almost all applications. Its compact size allows installation in confined spaces. Description The DT-12x integrated displacement transmitter is exclusively intended for measuring mechanical distances and vibrations. It is mainly used for monitoring the condition of plain bearings and rotating shafts. The displacement transmitter consists of: - Open-ended 4-wire cable (displacement transmitter using 2-wire technology and a dynamic signal output) - Integrated cable - Displacement transmitter housing - Ceramic tip Advantages of this displacement transmitter model: - The DT-12x series of integrated displacement transmitters offers precise and reliable monitoring of radial and axial shaft displacements and vibrations of industrial machines, at a much lower cost than a conventional displacement sensor. - No vibration monitor is required to connect the sensor signal to the DCS/PLC. The transmitter is therefore not only economical with fewer components than a conventional sensor, but also much more compact and requires minimal installation. - The DT-12x series consists of integrated sensors: the vibration driver (oscillator) and signal conditioning electronics (vibration monitor) are thus integrated directly into the sensor. Installation is greatly simplified: the driver, vibration monitor, and protective housing no longer require a separate driver or monitor. - The transmitter is powered by the current loop, meaning this low-power sensor is easy and economical to install with a simple two-wire connection. It provides a 4-20 mA signal powered by an inexpensive external DC voltage source on the current loop. When properly selected, it is not affected by long cable distances, voltage drops, or noise. VT-110/120 velocity transmitters features: - 4-20 mA analog output – loop-powered, proportional to vibration velocity (mm/s rms) - Dynamic signal output (buffered) - Measurements standardized according to ISO 10816 Features The DT-12x displacement transmitter offers the following features: - World's first fully integrated, loop-powered displacement transmitter - Measurement of axial position and relative shaft vibrations - 4-20 mA analog output - Suitable for semi-critical plain bearing machines - Simple mounting - Economical installation: no separate driver or electronics required - Simple, economical, and reliable - Reduced wiring and installation costs thanks to a unique monoblock design - No need for additional housings, mounting space, or protection - Buffered output - Installation: front, rear, inclined - Explosion-proof versions available The VT-110/120 velocity transmitter offers the following features: - High quality with glass-sealed M12 connector, double housing insulation - Compact format with superior annular shear technology - Industrial IP67 design, shock-resistant - Temperature range: -55 … +120 °C - Attractive price Applications: Steam/gas turbines, diesel/gas engines, compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, small and medium rotating equipment with bearings. Technical Specifications: - Output: 4-20 mA analog, dynamic signal output (buffered) - Measurement range: e.g., 0…20 mm/s rms - Compliance: ISO 10816 - Frequency range: 3 to 1,000 Hz - Temperature range: -55 to +120 °C - IP67 protection, compact design - Explosion-proof versions available
