In addition, there is a diagnostic LED on each slave. Note This AS-Interface module conforms to AS-i specification 3.0 and can only be operated with a master, which also supports 3.0. The input and output channels are connected in pairs on the signal side. This allows a bigger variety of connections (see pin assignment). When connecting a dual-channel sensor/actuator to input/output socket 1 or 3, the sockets 2 and 4 may not be connected with another sensor/actuator due to the cross-wiring of the inputs/outputs.
