Overview
Moisture from ambient air can damage production equipment and end products. The PUREBERG® F01WW is a cyclone-type water separator for compressed air that removes bulk liquids by centrifugal action. It is rated for flows up to 72 Nm3/h at 7 bar and collects condensate in a lower chamber for controlled drainage.

Function and operation
The separator contains a vane insert that induces a controlled rotation of the air flow. Centrifugal forces drive water and large particles to the housing wall where they decelerate and collect as condensate. A calm lower zone prevents re-entrainment into the airstream. For automatic condensate discharge use an electronic zero-loss condensate drain (e.g. BEKOMAT 20), recommended with BERG separators.
