Product information
The PUREBERG® F04WW water separator (condensate separator) removes moisture and liquid droplets from compressed air to provide dry air to downstream equipment. Rated at 216 m3/h at 7 bar, it separates condensate by centrifugal action and gravity so that liquids collect in the lower chamber and can be discharged manually or automatically. The unit reduces corrosion, line blockages and damage to downstream components.

How it works
Moist compressed air enters the separator where a guide-vane insert creates a controlled rotational flow. Centrifugal forces drive water droplets to the housing wall; separated liquids flow down into a collection chamber. A calm zone at the bottom prevents re-entrainment of condensate into the cleaned airstream. A riser pipe design limits particle transfer to the cleaned upward flow and a rectifier reduces pressure loss.
