Overview
The PUREBERG® F05WW water separator (282 m3/h at 7 bar) removes moisture and liquid condensate from compressed air streams to protect piping and downstream equipment from corrosion, blockage and damage. Separated condensate collects in the lower chamber and can be discharged manually or via an automatic drain.

Operation
The separator uses a finned insert to induce controlled air rotation (cyclonic separation). Centrifugal forces throw liquids (water, oil) and coarse particles to the housing wall where they slow and collect as condensate in the collection chamber. A turbulence-free zone at the bottom prevents re-entrainment. For condensate discharge, an automatic drain (e.g. BEKOMAT 20) is recommended and is included depending on configuration.
