Overview
The PUREBERG® F03WW water separator (150 m3/h at 7 bar) removes moisture and liquid condensate from compressed air streams to protect installations, reduce corrosion and prevent downstream equipment malfunctions. It uses centrifugal and gravity separation to collect droplets into a condensate chamber. Condensate can be drained manually or automatically; the unit is supplied with a BEKOMAT 20 automatic drain.

Operation
Compressed air enters via a curved inlet; guide vanes induce high-speed rotation, generating centrifugal forces that drive droplets to the housing wall. Liquids flow down by gravity into the collection chamber. A calm zone prevents re-entrainment and a rising tube avoids carryover of separated liquids into the purified airflow.

Design and maintenance
PUREBERG F—WW separators rely on physical separation principles and do not require replaceable filter elements, reducing element-replacement tasks. Periodic inspection and cleaning of the collection chamber are recommended: depressurize the system, disassemble if necessary, remove deposits, check for damage and reassemble following safety procedures.

Accessories and supplied items
The unit includes a BEKOMAT 20 condensate drain for energy-efficient automatic discharge. Use of an automatic condensate drain is recommended to avoid condensate accumulation and loss of separation efficiency.
