Area of application
Convert a 4.0 mm C4 bit and a holder into a precision torque tool. The adapters emit a click when the preset torque is reached, preventing overtightening. Primarily intended for manual operation; when used with power tools observe the max. speed recommendation. Note: when loosening screws the adapter does not unlock torque (blocked core shaft), which can result in approximately 30% higher torque when loosening.

Technical description
The adapters are tested to DIN EN ISO 6789 for manually operated torque screwdriving tools and maintain tolerance ±10% for at least 20,000 clicks. The mechanism locks the ratchet in the bushing sleeve; a hollow core shaft and damping cylinder render the core shaft inactive once the preset torque is exceeded so continuous tension on the screw is not further increased. The torque value should be checked periodically with a torque meter.
