Compact preset torque adapter set for 4 mm (C4) bits, covering small torque values from 0.1 to 0.6 Nm and supplied with two bit adapters in a plastic quadro box. The adapters click when the preset torque is reached and are primarily intended for manual operation; usage with power tools is limited to low speed (max. 100 rpm) to avoid repeated clicks.

Area of application
Turn a 4 mm C4 bit and a holder into a precision torque tool. Suitable where precise small torque settings are required (electronics, quick-change systems, robotic stations, aerospace, medical devices, workbench applications). The adapter prevents overtightening; when loosening a screw no torque unlocking occurs (blocked core shaft).

Technical description
The adapters are tested according to DIN EN ISO 6789 (manually operated torque screwdriving tools) and guarantee a tolerance of ±10% for at least 20,000 clicks. The mechanism uses a hollow core shaft, damping cylinder and mobile ratchet: when the applied torque exceeds the preset torque the core shaft becomes inactive and a click indicates the torque limit has been reached. The torque should be checked regularly with a torque meter.
