Area of application

• Converts any 4 mm C4 bit and holder into a precise low-torque tool. Ideal for electronics, quick-change systems, robotic stations, aerospace, medical electronics and workbenches requiring accurate low torque settings. The adapter locks the ratchet when the preset torque is reached to prevent overtightening. Note: when loosening screws, torque unlocking does not occur (blocked core shaft), which can result in higher loosening torque (approx. +30%).

Technical description

• Adapters tested to DIN EN ISO 6789 (manually operated torque screwdriving tools). Tolerance ±10% for at least 20,000 clicks. Users should check torque values regularly with a torque meter.
• Operating principle: patented system with hollow core shaft, damping cylinder with slot and mobile ratchet. When applied torque exceeds preset value, the core shaft becomes inactive and further torque is not increased, producing an audible click.
