Description

Boratas VSI1000 Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher, also known as sand making machine, is a stationary open-rotor VSI crusher designed for high-capacity shaping and sand production in quarry, mining, and aggregate processing applications. It is suited for operations that require higher feed size inlet and increased throughput while maintaining controlled product shape.

The Boratas sand crusher is typically used in tertiary or quaternary crushing stages, processing feed material up to 80 mm. It is commonly installed after jaw or cone crushers in multi-stage crushing plants to produce manufactured sand, asphalt aggregate, and construction concrete materials.

Equipped with a 1000 mm open rotor, the VSI1000 supports both rock-on-rock and rock-on-anvil crushing mechanism. Adjustable rotor speed and internal settings allow operators to fine-tune performance based on material type, abrasiveness, and target product grading. The open rotor design enables higher material flow, making the VSI1000 suitable for high-capacity and heavy-duty operations.
