Description
The DLA2 series protects telecommunication, automation and data systems against lightning-induced surges. Designed for 35 mm DIN-rail mounting, the device provides plug-in protection modules for easy maintenance and supports voltages from 6 V up to 170 V with transmission rates up to 10 Mbit/s. Protection combines high-performance gas discharge tubes (GDT) and fast-switching TVS diodes for high discharge capacity and rapid response. Shield connection is additionally earthed via a GDT and the earthing is made through the top-hat rail. When the plug-in module is removed, the transmission signal is retained unless a specific disconnect version is used.
