Description

Overview
  • Engine: Cummins NT855 series.
  • Type: 4-stroke, water-cooled, turbocharged with air-to-air aftercooling.
  • Mechanical structure: cast steel crankshaft, connecting rods, cast-iron cylinder block. Cooling system: integrated water circulation pump and thermostat to optimize engine operating efficiency.
  • Filtration: high-precision Fleetguard series filter.
  • Alternator: Stamford HC series — rotating magnetic field, single bearing, 4-pole, brushless, drip-proof design, compliant with GB755, BS5000 and IEC34-1.
  • Stator: conical-slot structure with 2/3 pitch windings to reduce third-harmonic current waveform distortion under non-linear loads.
  • Rotor: flexible drive plate directly coupled to the engine; damper winding reduces parallel oscillation.
  • Alternator cooling: direct-driven centrifugal fan.
  • Control system: PowerCommand® microprocessor-based control.
  • Short-circuit protection: Schneider circuit breaker with patented AmpSentryTM, integrated with PowerCommand® controller.
  • Baseframe: bolted steel baseframe with A/V mounts, seismic-capable structure and bottom oil sump.
  • Radiator: standard radiator mounted on the generator set.
  • Standard accessories: exhaust elbow, expansion joint, silencer, etc.
