GCC-211 Optical Short-pass Filters are coated on a substrate of fused silica, which allows the transmission of any wavelength shorter than the cut-off wavelength and block any wavelength longer than the cut-off. These filter features a narrow transition band between its transmission and blocking regions and is highly sensitive to the angle of incidence. The corresponding wavelength band of the outgoing beam can only be achieved when the light is incident perpendicularly or nearly perpendicularly.
