Product OverviewBBUEM-DP is a fixed dual-path ultrasonic energy meter designed for large chilled-water, hot-water and thermal-energy systems. It combines dual-path ultrasonic flow measurement with matched supply/return temperature sensing to calculate heating or cooling energy from liquid flow and ΔT. Clamp-on sensors are standard for non-intrusive installation; wetted sensors are available as an option.

Measurement PrincipleTwo ultrasonic paths measure transit-time differences to determine flow velocity in the same pipeline. Thermal energy is computed from measured flow rate and the measured temperature difference between supply and return.
