Description The HZMAB is a single- or multistage cantilever centrifugal pump with magnetic coupling and axial suction nozzle. The pump features a permanent magnetic coupling; the containment shell hermetically seals the pumped fluid. An internal circulation flow removes heat generated by eddy-current losses. The pump shaft is supported on SiC plain bearings. Wear rings are fitted on suction and discharge sides. Axial thrust is balanced by a double-sided relief disc whose relief chambers are loaded by both the pump discharge and the pressure of the first stage. Direct motor mounting eliminates additional rolling bearings and a mechanical coupling.
