Description

Product description
The HZSMAR is a single- or multi-stage sectional pump equipped with a magnetic coupling and a side-channel (vessel) gas-handling stage. The gas-handling device operates on the side-channel pump principle: during gas entrainment the pressure increase in the side-channel stage enables reintroduction of gas into the liquid phase. The pump features a permanent magnetic coupling; the gap chamber provides a hermetic seal between the pumped medium and the environment. Heat generated by eddy-current losses is removed by an internal circulation flow. The pump shaft is supported by SiC sliding bearings on the product side and oil-lubricated rolling bearings on the drive side. Suction and discharge wear rings are standard. Axial thrust is balanced by a double-sided relief disc whose relief chambers are loaded by both the pump discharge and the pressure of the first stage.
