Description

Overview
The HZAR is a single- or multistage segmented centrifugal pump manufactured to API 610, BB4 design, featuring an axial suction nozzle. The suction assembly is designed with an axial inlet and the suction-side impeller has an enlarged inlet area to achieve very low NPSH values. Axial thrust is balanced by relief holes and throttle gaps; wear and throttle rings are standard on both suction and discharge. Shaft bearings consist of a cylindrical roller bearing and a pair of angular contact ball bearings. Replaceable bearing seals are fitted on both sides. Atmospheric sealing is provided by profile rings in a metal-to-metal design. The seal chamber is arranged to accept mechanical seals in accordance with API 682.
