OverviewThe NMT is a volute casing submersible pump with shaft sealing based on the two-pipe pump principle (separate shaft sealing pipe and pressure pipe). The hydraulic pump section is installed in the container or directly in the pumped medium. Connection is made via a multi-stage shaft and pipe string. Submersible lengths up to 6 meters and flow rates up to 1000 m³/h (≈4400 gpm) are possible. The pump features a permanent magnet coupling; the containment shell hermetically seals the fluid to the outside. Direct mounting of the drive motor eliminates additional bearings and a mechanical coupling.
