Product description
The PRM is a volute-casing process pump with magnetic drive according to API 685. The pump is equipped with a permanent magnet coupling; the containment shell provides a hermetic seal of the conveyed fluid. An internal circulation flow removes heat generated by eddy-current losses. The volute casing features integral supports for mid-shaft suspension and a welded, flanged drain. Axial thrust is balanced by relief holes, back vanes or other measures. Wear rings are standard on suction and discharge sides. The pump shaft is supported by SiC sleeve bearings on the product side; the drive shaft runs on oil-lubricated rolling bearings.
